Terms and conditionsitle
Please find the Maser Shine LLC Company Policies and Disclaimers below. We are transparent and ask all new clients to sign in recognition of our company disclaimers.By accepting a work order, customer agrees to the following terms.
DAMAGE AND WORKMANSHIP GUARANTEE POLICY
Master Shine LLC requires notification within 72 hours of service to address presumed damages. This includes discontent with cleaning, or any instance that would require a return visit or liability. Timeliness is crucial as many service providers like pest control and lawn care visit homes and often work in the same areas.
If we are not allowed to visit and evaluate the situation, there will be no reduction in cost or other means used to satisfy the customer. It is understood that customers have agreed upon an amount and it is unacceptable to “name the price” they are willing to pay unless mutually agreed upon with written documentation.
The Master Shine policy is to return and fix any human error resulting from our cleaning. We use these instances as teachable moments to prevent the same occurrence in the future. Allowing a visit helps us continually improve and hopefully leaves you with the cleaning you expect. Master Shine LLC honors our workmanship guarantee and will do anything within our power to deliver on expectations.
Cancellation Policy
In the event that you need to reschedule or cancel a service, we require at least a 72 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled date. All services $129.00 and below will incur a $25.00 cancellation fee. All Services $250.00 and above will incur a 10% fee calculated off the total scheduled services. We hope you understand this policy is in the best interest of our technicians who depend on a full day of work.
Carpet & Uphostery Cleaning
Master Shine LLC, pledges to render careful, thorough, professional service using reasonable care to obtain satisfactory results. Because of the nature of carpet and upholstery fibers, various stains may cause permanent damage. A few examples of this are bleach, dyes, cosmetics, pet stains, and acid based stains such as fruit juice. Therefore we cannot guarantee removal of all stains. Areas that have been exposed to pets may be permanently stained and require additional odor control. Spots, stains, and high traffic areas are difficult to predict or pre qualify to what extent, if any, they can be removed. Carpets loose and seems disengaged from walls and concrete floors may not be visible during pre inspection. Any questions concerning our workmanship must be reported within 72 hours after completion of service or a service charge may be assessed. All sales are final. SAFETY INFORMATION- Extreme care should be taken when stepping from wet carpet onto non-carpeted areas. We generate high temperatures and vacuum pressures which can pose a significant danger. Use caution when walking around cleaning equipment, hoses, and trucks. Please keep all children and pets away from cleaning equipment and area.Master Shine LLC liability is limited to the amount of service only.
Dry Time. There are several contributing factors that affect dry time: level of moisture, level of humidity, air movement, and thickness of carpet. Dirtier carpet requires increased water usage, which adds to dry time. The average dry time is 12-24 hours.
To avoid stains or rust spots, please do not put any small items such as lamps, tables, chairs, etc., back on the carpet until after 24 hours. Do not remove any pads or blocks our technicians may have placed under furniture until the carpet is completely dry – usually in 48 hours. It is the responsibility of the client to provide the technician with the fiber type of upholstery and carpeting. Our technicians can test and identify many fibers, but the variety of blends available in the market make it impossible to determine fiber type 100% of the time. Master Shine LLC cannot be held liable for damage caused from misidentified fibers. Rippling can occur under certain conditions even when carpet is properly installed. Adhesive that holds the backing together can absorb moisture and expand. In most cases, this rippling will disappear within 72 hours. If it does not, it is due to improper installation rather than improper cleaning. If a technician finds on your premise, or reasonably believes he/she has found, hazardous waste, harmful materials (ex. asbestos or mold), or the presence of other materials such as substantial amount of powder carpet freshener, adhesives, or soapy cleaning agents, chemicals or materials, the Client understands that the presence of these materials may require additional cleaning and potentially multiple cleaning visits. Client agrees to assume all costs of additional steps to clean or otherwise address such condition. Client understands that these additional treatment costs are not part of initial Estimate or Invoice.
AREA RUG CLEANING
It is the responsibility of the client to provide the technician with the rug’s fiber type. Our technicians can test and identify many fibers, but the variety of blends available in the market make it impossible to determine fiber type 100% of the time. Master Shine LLC cannot be held liable for damage caused from misidentified fibers. Customer understands that Master Shine LLC cannot be held responsible for defects that may exist in rugs or carpets when they are placed into our custody. Customer agrees to accept our assessment of the condition of the carpet when received and further releases Master Shine LLC from any responsibility for defects which appear after soil is removed. Shrinkage may occur in rugs depending on the type and quality. Master Shine LLC cannot be held responsible for this occurrence. Fading, Color Changes, Dry Rot due to wear, sunlight, age or deteriorated material which disintegrates in the cleaning process is frequently not noticeable prior to cleaning, Master Shine LLC cannot assume responsibility for these pre-existing conditions. Unstable colors may run when washed – pretesting for color fastness is completed on every rug, but color fastness cannot be guaranteed based on a spot test and Master Shine LLC is not responsible for dyes which run in the cleaning process. Stains that you cannot see could turn brown after cleaning. Such stains are caused by orange, grapefruit, watermelon or lemon juice; artificially sweetened soft drinks and similar such beverages. Urine or other animal stains can remove the color from fibers and such stains cannot be removed. Some stains are difficult to treat and while every effort is made to treat all stains, we cannot guarantee complete elimination. Pet owners should know that an odor may sometimes result from a fungus that is released upon washing. Shag rugs with very thick pile will hold debris inside the fibers, despite every effort on the part of Master Shine LLC to remove hair and debris during the cleaning process. Full removal of debris may not be possible. Pet Hair may not be possible to fully remove from rug fibers. The first couple of times you vacuum following a cleaning you may notice more fibers lifting than usual. The cleaning process will loosen trapped in soil and debris as well as worn fibers. We vacuum all rugs following the cleaning process, but this is still normal to see a few times following the cleaning. Delivery of Area Rugs is estimated between 12-15 business days and shall be deemed approximate and is subject to delays not under control of Master Shine LLC. Service provider shall not be responsible for any failure in delivery for these causes. Do Not Store rugs rolled up as they were dropped off unless specially prepared for storage by Master Shine LLC. Recently cleaned rugs may maintain additional moisture and must be allowed to breathe after cleaning. Unroll and inspect rugs immediately after delivery. Master Shine LLC is not responsible for the condition of any rug after 1 week following delivery. Dry Cleaning or in home cleaning of Area Rugs does not reach trapped dirt at the base of the fibers/weave. This method uses warm water extraction to remove dirt and spots on the surface of the rug. Deep stain removal is not possible. Customer understands that this method can cause damage to the rug including shrinking, fiber deterioration, trapped soil, and agrees that Master Shine LLC is not responsible for the outcome of a rug that is cleaned using this method. Dust and Extract Cleaning method uses a rug duster or compressed air to remove dry soil, then uses warm water extraction to remove dirt and very light spots on the surface of the rug. Deep cleaning and stain removal are not possible with this method. Rugs made from Viscose/Rayon are difficult to clean due to the nature of the material. Viscose is a cellulosic fiber made from plant by-products spun and processed together into staple fiber strands, and you cannot know what exactly is in it. By accepting this estimate, customer understands the following risks: Yellowing often occurs when viscose gets wet. We will try to lessen the yellowing but will not be able to remove it completely. Viscose does not hold dye well and may fade when cleaned. We will do a spot test to see how much, but we cannot guarantee the outcome. VIscose has a tendency to shed more than other fibers. It is also likely stiffen when drying, so we will groom it, but may not get it as soft as it was before. We will be very careful and do our best to counter each of these issues, but we may not be 100% successful and cannot replace the rug if further damaged by the cleaning. Master Shine LLC will assume no responsibility for Rugs left at our facility for over 30 days after cleaning is complete. Rugs left for more than 90 days will be discarded. Items left more than 21 days will be wrapped for short term storage to prevent re-soiling. Items left more than 60 days will be wrapped for long term storage and shelved. Wrapping fees will be added to customer invoice. Master Shine LLC is not responsible for the condition of rugs left more than 30 days.
TILE & GROUT CLEANING
• We do not recommend painting grout. Painted grout lines will eventually flake and may not remove evenly, leaving the areas splotchy.
• Grout lines can become stained beyond cleaning. We have found that areas around commodes, stoves and other high-traffic areas are more susceptible to stains. If permanent stains show after cleaning, the only solution is to contact a company specializing in grout repair and replacement.
• Loose, cracked, or missing grout may or may not be visible before cleaning. Our machines do not cause damage to grout professionally installed and intact. Grout repair is the responsibility of the homeowner or facility manager.
• When the grout is dirty, it is difficult to tell if there are imperfections in the installation. After cleaning, uneven grout lines, mismatched lines, and stains can be more noticeable.
• Master Shine LLC requires notification within 72 hours of service to address presumed damages. This includes discontent with cleaning, or any instance that would require a return visit or liability. Timeliness is crucial as many service providers like plumbers and electricians visit homes or businesses and often work in the same areas.
• If we are not allowed to visit and evaluate the situation, there will be no reduction in cost or other means used to satisfy the customer. It is understood that customers have agreed upon an amount and it is unacceptable to “name the price” they are willing to pay unless mutually agreed upon with written documentation.
• The Master Shine LLC policy is to return and fix any human error resulting from our cleaning. We use these instances as teachable moments to prevent the same occurrence in the future. Allowing a visit helps us continually improve and hopefully leaves you with the cleaning you expect. Master Shine LLC honors our workmanship guarantee and will do anything within our power to deliver on expectations.
HARDWOOD FLOORS CLEANING

Trip Hazard You understand we will have equipment, cords and other tools both large and small, running throughout your home or facility during the installation / refinishing process. We are not responsible for injuries that might result from our equipment or misplaced furniture being in a walkway.
The dry time between coats of stain, polyurethane and water-based finishes will varying depending on the indoor temperature and humidity present in the house.
Spots and Stains in the hardwood floors may be the result of water damage or pet stains from urine. These stains will make the wood dark and may cause permanent damage to the wood floors. Every effort will be made to sand out these stains, however not all stains can be repaired via sanding and may require board replacement.
AUTO DETAILING
Our trained staff detail customer cars with the greatest care possible. However, if any mechanical or electrical/electronic components fail for no reason while at our shop, Master Shine LLC will not accept any responsibility to make repairs. Examples of such failures could be windows or doors malfunctions, autos not starting, convertible roofs not working, seats locking up, electrical or screen displays failing etc.
On check-in, we ask our customers to identify and point out, before we start detailing, any components or parts already broken or in a condition about to fail. Extra care will then be taken during the cleaning process in these areas.
In any case, Master Shine LLC will not be responsible to repair near failing parts that may tear, break, or come loose in the cleaning process.
If we find defective materials or loose-fitting parts while cleaning, we may not be able to clean them properly and will advise the customer.

Customers are requested to clear their personal items from their vehicle before appointments. Master Shine LLC will not be held responsible for any lost items. There may be an extra charge of $25 to remove and repack owner items left in the auto.
Glove box interiors will not be cleaned and Owner contents in glove boxes will not be disturbed.

For autos that have extra dog hair or dirt conditions that are greater than the average amount and take extra time to detail, there will be a surcharge. This charge can vary from $50 (small), $75 (medium) and $100 (large) depending on the extra work required. The detailer working on the auto will assess this charge as the work proceeds
Master Shine LLC normally do not clean the inside of enclosed canopies on large trucks because most owners have them filled with tools and supplies and the inside is difficult to access. If cleaning of these area is required, it is available at an optional price.
Exterior detailing/cleaning
Master Shine LLC is not responsible for any paint damages during the polishing/waxing or external detailing process that may occur on painted surfaces that are aging, that are of inadequate cover/design or have started to lift or crack off the surface.
Master Shine LLC will not take responsibility for any damages to paint protective film (PPF) coverings that may occur during the washing process. We ask all customers before starting if they have any protective coatings and if so, we wash those areas with a low-pressure water hose and not a pressure washer to avoid any possible damage. For vehicles with aftermarket window tinting, we clean the glass as carefully as possible and do not use any sharp cleaning tools. In any event, we do not take responsibility for any film that lifts or breaks during the cleaning process.
Master Shine LLC only cleans the sunroof glass surfaces with the sunroof in the closed position. We do not open sunroof windows to do any track area cleaning. The sunroof tracks are best maintained by the auto glass shops. They have the expertise to clean and re-grease the tracks and check all the drainage/lubrication systems & vents to ensure proper movement and water drainage.
Specific Items
Master Shine will not be responsible to replace weak or dead batteries. We avoid using any electrical devices on cars that may drain a battery, but leaving doors open during the cleaning process can drain a battery if it is in a weak state. Customers need to ensure their battery is in proper fully charged working condition.
Master Shine LLC takes care when washing and cleaning engines. There are isolated cases where electrical fuse boxes or other electrical devices are not properly sealed allowing water to penetrate and causing engine starting problems. When this occurs, Master Shine LLC requests the auto owner to bring the car back and we will do an engine drying. We are very experienced on drying and this solves most cases. Master Shine will not take responsibility to pay owners service bills from others to dry the engine.
A Master Shine LLC Hand Wash is a one (1) hour “maintenance wash and cleaning" designed for newer or for previously detailed vehicles. It is not meant to be a deep cleaning or detailing service. You may get a Hand Wash with any vehicle size, but keep in mind the expectation and quality are far different than a full detail appointment that can take from 5-8 hours of labor.
